Forest Time is OrganicLea’s own Forest School for families, run on our beautiful 12-acre food-growing site Hawkwood Nursery.
Join us for the new-season Friday morning sessions, from 9.45 to 11.45am, perfect for pre-schoolers (walking up to age 4) and their grown-ups. Younger siblings are welcome too!
What to expect at the sessions
Our sessions help you make connections – with yourself, each other, and the natural environment. You’ll enjoy:
- Activities run on Forest School principles
- Plenty of free play and community-building
- Nature crafts, learning about seasonal food-growing, campfire cooking, songs and games
- Experiences that follow the changing seasons and OrganicLea’s work in gardening and ecology
The 8-week term costs £144 (£9 per child and £9 per adult each session). Extra tickets for siblings are £6 for those who are walking, and free for younger siblings who are crawling or carried.
We want everyone to be able to join in, so we offer some discounted places for families on a low income. And, if it’s hard to pay for all 8 sessions at once, just let us know – we’re here to help.
