We sell compost for collection or local delivery. Collection is from Hawkwood Nursery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays (9am-5pm). Please place your order by Tuesday for collection on Friday of the same week.
Kerbside/doorstep home delivery is available for the following postcodes: E4, E10, E11, E17, IG8 and IG9. To make our deliveries as efficient as possible we are initially offering the following 2026 dates:
Friday 3 and 17 April; Friday 1 and 15 May; Friday 11 September.
Extra dates may be added once demand is assessed. We’re sorry that we can’t guarantee a particular timeslot on your chosen date, but you can provide delivery information in the notes section and we’ll do our best to help.
Delivery costs are based on quantity: a base £5 fee, plus £2 for each bag ordered.
You can pay by credit or debit card. If you have any difficulties doing so, please email plants@organiclea.org.uk. Please note that it’s a busy time in the nursery so we’re checking email about twice a week.
