Join us at Organiclea on selected Sundays throughout the year for our Open Days! Each one is a great chance to explore our beautiful grounds, get involved with group gardening activities, and pick up some handy tips through informal learning sessions.
What to expect when you visit
Each Open Day is a bit different, depending on the season. You’ll find workshops, plant sales, and guided walks focused on what’s growing or being prepared at that time of year, as well as sessions about the wildlife and nature around the Hawkwood Plant Nursery. We love celebrating what our site has to offer, and sharing it with everyone who visits!
There’s a guided tour of the site, and we regularly run workshops covering different aspects of gardening and food growing. You can always count on coffee, cake, and a tasty lunch made with fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. Our Farm Stall is open too, selling our own produce such as salad, jams, pickles, vinegars, and herbal teas.
Timings and where to find us
Open Days run from 12 noon to 4pm – feel free to drop in whenever suits you or stay for the whole afternoon. Everyone is welcome, and it’s a perfect chance to chat with us about gardening in general.

You’ll find directions to Hawkwood, including public transport and cycle routes.
Parking is available, but it can get busy, so we encourage you to use other ways to travel if possible.
