You’re welcome to visit the Farm Stall at Hawkwood Nursery, where you can buy a variety of fruit and vegetables, plus other food and non-food items. The Farm Stall is an ideal way to make an occasional purchase or to supplement your regular box scheme order.
Farm Stall opening hours
It’s open on Wednesdays, 2pm-5pm, and Fridays, 9am-4pm, and on OrganicLea OrganicLea open days. We are supporters of cash and welcome cash payments, but we can take card payments too! The stall is self-service, but there’s always someone around to say hello and help you find what you need.
Pop in for carrots, onions and potatoes, plus a range of seasonal vegetables and fruit harvested from Hawkwood. All the produce we supply is organically grown at Hawkwood or by the organic farmers we work with for our box scheme.
We also stock a small range of dried goods, including our own herbal teas, Hodmedod UK-grown pulses and grains, Zaytoun solidarity products from Palestine and Zapatista coffee.
You can buy OrganicLea merchandise too – tea towels, t-shirts, hoodies, bags and caps. Our own-brewed beer and cider are also available on occasion, and you can buy plants from the plants trolley at the Farm Stall in May and October.
We stock our range of composts at the Farm Stall year-round, but to guarantee we have what you want place a compost order online, which you can collect at Hawkwood. From June to October the Farm Stall also regularly stocks our small flower bouquets.
