Who we are
We are a network of different individuals/ groups involved in food projects in the borough of Waltham Forest. We are all actively involved in practical initiatives to make our local food system work better for local people, the environment and the local economy. Our network is a horizontal association. We meet to connect and support each other, within our community. We share information and skills and decide on the next practical steps for the network. The groups currently involved in the network include: Organiclea, Waltham Forest Food Rescuers, Transition Leytonstone, Waltham Grow, Christian Kitchen, Hornbeam, as well as food educators and individuals involved in other food-based projects across Waltham Forest.
