In partnership with Naturewise, Organiclea is running this course at our Hawkwood site. The course is accredited by the Permaculture Association (Britain) and on its successful completion you will receive an internationally recognised Certificate in Permaculture Design.
Permaculture is rooted in an understanding of nature’s patterns and cycles which then informs our endeavours to create a sustainable future. Although often associated with gardening, its insights and tools are applicable to all aspects of our lives. This course offers an immersion into permaculture – its principles, design methods and processes, woven into an understanding of natural systems. There will be opportunity to gain practical skills on the beautiful Hawkwood site, to get to see some other London Permaculture initiatives and to develop a design project. The learning is participatory and dynamic, with different guest speakers, practicals, films and group work. The course seeks to support and encourage your individual skills, knowledge and interests, whilst drawing on traditional wisdom, science and our innate ability to observe and learn from the world around us.
