In the bags this week:
Produce from: Hughes Organics (Norfolk), Breckland Organics (Norfolk B), Woodlands Organics (Lincolnshire), Riverdale Farm (Cambridgeshire) and other small farmers in East Anglia, Sarah Green (Essex), our Hawkwood Plant Nursery growing site (Chingford) and local ‘Cropshare’ growers. Produce occasionally comes from organic farmer and local wholesaler Perry Court Farm (Kent) and from organic wholesaler Langridge (especially non-UK fruit). Contents may vary due to availability.
Standard vegetable bags have Sante potatoes (Lincs), carrots (Scotland), onions (Cambs), Cauliflower (Lincs), Mushrooms (Suffolk), Spinach (Norfolk), Leeks and Wild garlic (Kent). No potato bags have Spring Greens (Kent), Coriander (Norfolk) and Broad beans (Chingford) instead of Leeks and Spinach.
Large vegetable bags have same as standard with more potatoes, onions, carrots, Chard (Chingford or Essex) instead of Leeks, plus Broad beans. No potato bags have Spring greens (Essex).
Medium veg bags have Sante potatoes, carrots (Scotland), Cauliflower (Lincs), Mushrooms (Suffolk), Spinach (Norfolk) and Leeks (Kent). No potato bags have Broad beans (Chingford).
Small vegetable bags have Sante potatoes, carrots (Scotland), Beetroot (Devon), Chard (Chingford or Essex) and Mixed salad (Chingford). No potato bags have Cauliflower (Lincs).
Standard fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), Hass Avocados, Ortanque clementines, Navelina oranges (Spain) and Jonagold apples (Kent).
Medium fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), Hass Avocados, Navelina oranges (Spain) and Jonagold apples (Kent).
Small fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), Ortanque clementines (Spain) and Jonagold apples (Kent).
