It’s definitely apple season… so Saturday 11 October sees the amazing annual Apple Day at Vestry House Museum. This year it’s raising funds for Eat or Heat food bank scheme as well as the Museum gardens. Donation £1 for adults, children go free. Highlights include:
- Apples to taste and buy, apple pressing, apple bobbing, apple trees for sale
- Delicious hot food and London Glider cider from the Hornbeam Cafe, tea and cakes from Eat or Heat
- Storytelling, music, crafts, theatre and lots of children’s activities
- Plants and gardening advice
- Vestry House Museum new exhibition on Raids, Rationing and Riots
