If you want your food garden to stay green over the cold winter months, come along to the Hornbeam or Leytonstone market stalls on the next couple of Saturdays to pick up some bargain winter plants.
There will be a selection of plants from mustards, rockets, mizuna, chicory, chards, spinach, endive, kales, coriander, French sorrel, watercress, corn salad, broad beans and early peas to green manures! All the plants have been potted on and are growing with vigour to get an Autumn head-start for the winter months.
Find them on our stalls: Saturday 10-3 at the Hornbeam stall (458 Hoe St) or 10.30-3 in Leytonstone (outside Matalan).
