Sunday 23 June, 10am-4.30pm at Hawkwood Nursery
Come join us for a summer herb workshop, in the beautiful surroundings of Hawkwood’s organic Community Plant Nursery, nestled on the edge of Epping Forest.
You will be taken on a guided herb walk, identifying plants that have been used medicinally for centuries, and foraging herbs and food.
You will have a chance to connect with a particular plant, deepening your powers of observation, and learning different ways of coming to know plants and their properties.
We will then learn about the gentle power of flower essences and make some of our own.
In the afternoon we will be discussing 3 chosen plant medicines and making tinctures, syrups and other potions for you to try and take home
The workshop is led by Mihaela Repina and Nicole Freris, London based herbalists and permaculture teachers.
Cost: £60/£40/£20 (includes materials). See our course fee guide for details of how concessions apply. Please bring some food to share, which we will add to our foraged lunch.
