Volunteers’ Week is an annual occasion which celebrates the contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. Organiclea was founded, survives and thrives on voluntary involvement: for training, for fun, and to be part of the solution to our broken food system.
Saturday 2nd June: Come celebrate being involved in community growing on our street stalls! Current volunteers and potential volunteers welcome, pop down for 1pm. There will be volunteer stories, an opportunity to meet other volunteers from across the co-op and new volunteers can sign up too. Let us know if you’re coming down to Hornbeam – Hoe St Baker’s Arms – or Leytonstone, outside Matalan, just email box@organiclea.org.uk
Wednesday 6th June: The launch of our new Wednesday volunteering day at our growing site with the first induction on 6th June, 11am, followed by a home-made lunch of our own produce. Come get involved, spend time on our beautiful 12 acre site, and learn about organic gardening. Please get in touch (jo@organiclea.org.uk or 020 8524 4994) if you’d like to join us.
