What’s in the bags this week – 4 April

Standard vegetable bags have Gatsby potatoes, spring greens, Savoy cabbage (Essex), carrots, onions, parsnips, mixed salad leaves (Norfolk), spring garlic (Chingford). No potato bags have coriander (Norfolk).

Large vegetable bags have Gatsby potatoes, green curly kale (Essex), onions, carrots, beetroot, celeriac, parsnips (Norfolk), white mushrooms (Suffolk), mixed salad, spring garlic (Chingford). No potato bags have Spring greens (Essex).

Medium vegetable have Gatsby potatoes (Essex), spring onions, celeriac, beetroot (Norfolk), white mushrooms (Suffolk) mixed salad (Chingford). No potato bags have swede (Essex).

Small vegetable bags have Gatsby potatoes, green curly kale, swede (Essex), carrots, red cabbage (Norfolk). No potato bags have spring greens (Essex).

Standard fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), Clementines, kiwi (Italy), oranges, grapefruit (Spain).

Medium fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), Clementines (Italy), oranges, grapefruit (Spain).

Small fruit bags have Clementines, kiwi (Italy), oranges (Spain).

 

 

Where does our produce come from? We get our produce from Hughes Organics (Norfolk), Sarah Green (Essex), Brockmans Farm (Kent) and from organic wholesaler Langridge (especially non-UK fruit). We aim to contribute 20% of the produce in our bags from either Hawkwood Plant Nursery (Chingford), or our farm starters; London Grown (Haringey), Shannon (Ilford), Primrose Organic farm (Herts). Contents may vary due to availability.
