Disco Soup & Local People’s Food Forum launch

The Local People’s Food Forum is a network of different individuals and groups involved in food projects in the borough of Waltham Forest. Join them for a Disco Soup revolution at the Scout Hut to cook up delicious solutions to food waste as part of World Disco Soup Day 2017.
Come and chop and bop to the funky disco beat in a party atmosphere using surplus food that would otherwise be wasted. All while celebrating the launch of the Local People’s Food Forum in Waltham Forest!
With disco music, workshops and games for kids (and adults) there’s something for everyone at this collaborative community event. Provisional programme below:
Come from 2pm to get chopping! We’ll eat together at approx 4pm.

You will be able to meet your neighbours and people from a range of local organisations which are all working hard to create a better food system in Waltham Forest. This includes:
