In the bags this week:
Produce from: Hughes Organics (Norfolk), Breckland Organics (Norfolk B), Woodlands Organics (Lincolnshire), Riverdale Farm (Cambridgeshire) and other small farmers in East Anglia, Sarah Green (Essex), our Hawkwood Plant Nursery growing site (Chingford) and local ‘Cropshare’ growers. Produce occasionally comes from organic farmer and local wholesaler Perry Court Farm (Kent) and from organic wholesaler Langridge (especially non-UK fruit). Contents may vary due to availability.
Standard vegetable bags have Ambo potatoes (Kent), onions (Kent), carrots, Red beetroot, cauliflower (Lincs), Red curly kale (Essex), beansprouts, Mixed salad (Chingford) No potato bags have additional Leeks (Norfolk B).
Large vegetable bags have same as Standard bags, plus additional mushrooms (Suffolk) and leeks (Norfolk B) No potato bags have Jerusalem srtichokes (Chingford)
Medium vegetable bags have Ambo potatoes (Essex), onions (Kent), Chard (Norfolk), parsnips (Essex), beansprouts, Mixed salad (Chingford) No potato bags have Flower sprouts (Essex)
Small vegetable bags have Ambo potatoes (Essex), onions (Kent), Chard (Norfolk), Red beetroot (Lincs)/Parsnips (Essex) and beansprouts (Chingford). No potato bags have Red Russian kale (Essex)
Standard fruit bags have oranges (Spain), mandarins, kiwi (Italy) and Cox or Gala apples (Kent) and rhubarb (Chingford).
Medium fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), oranges (Spain), Cox or Gala apples (Kent) and rhubarb (Chingford).
Small fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), mandarins, Ruby grapefruit (Italy) and Cox apples (Kent).
