This course is aimed at beginner gardeners who wish to gain gardening skills and knowledge. The focus will be on vegetable growing, but much of the course content will be relevant to all gardening. Learn how to assess your soil, design a vegetable garden, create compost and seedlings and more. The course will combine classroom-based learning with practical training in the Nursery glasshouses and gardens.
Bring pen/paper and notebook and a folder for handouts; sturdy shoes and all weather gear for outdoor practical sessions. Tea/coffee available
