2 days per week, initial 10 week contract
Based at Organiclea’s Hawkwood Nursery Site
Paid at Organiclea co-op rate: £20,930 pro rata
Organiclea are seeking to recruit a skilled building and facilities development worker to lead on a number of short-term building development projects. The successful candidate will be working 2 days per week for an initial fixed term of 10 weeks decommissioning and dismantling equipment, building an office and ambient storage units for our produce, with possible auxiliary works. The worker will lead on these works, spending at least one day per week working alongside volunteers and one day per week working alongside the current buildings and maintenance worker. Our preferred work days for this post are Tuesdays and Thursdays but there is room for negotiation.
Although this post is initially limited to 10 weeks it is likely that Organiclea will be seeking further building development in the future. We would like to find someone who is committed to supporting our work and with whom we could establish a longer term relationship for future building projects.
The post will begin on the 29th November, or as close to the date as possible.
