Join us for this month’s open day at Organiclea’s growing site – with a free skill-share, sagra, work opportunity and drop-in learning. This month’s sagra (celebration of a particular seasonal vegetable or way of preparing food) is cucumbers – come for refreshing tasting and learn all about saving seed.
The day runs from 12-4pm – drop by at anytime or stay for the day. The day will include:
• Group gardening activity – a seasonal task and opportunity to chat and
learn more about how we grow food at our site, 12-4pm
• Celebrating cucumbers with a ‘refreshing lunch beverage!’ Lunch is
between 1.30-2pm – bring a packed lunch.
• Learn more about seed-saving – using cucumbers as our starting point –
skill-share from 2-3pm… and a team will keep working throughout the
afternoon together.
We break for lunch between 1.30-2pm .. bring a packed lunch and join us.
