plant’s pop-up sale with permaculture too at Organiclea’s Hawkwood growing
site! Celebrate the beginning of summer, this time of rapid growth, almost
before our eyes!
*10-1; Join the launch of Organiclea’s plant sale season .. get vegetable plants, hand raised at our Hawkwood site by many careful growing hands… first sale of the season with healthy seasonal head-starters such as sweetcorn, tomatoes, courgettes, beans .. a trusty garden range to get your veg patch growing; compost also for sale and gardening chat comes free! Come earlier to avoid disappointment.
*11am; Introductory tour of the growing site.
*12-2pm; Drop-in taster workshops: Practical gardening support run by our growers:
– ‘Practicals of raised bed building’ (and get scaffold planks for raised beds in your garden)
– ‘Planting into the garden tips with pest prevention ideas’
*Throughout the day – guided childrens’ activity building of our garden-friendly bug hotel down on the terraces.
*1-3pm; Find our permaculture pop-up experience….. as part of the permaculture pop-up there is an optional meet-up at Chingford overground station (line from Liverpool street) at 12 midday …
